CINCINNATI – (BUSINESS WIRE) – April 13, 2009
Tillie Hidalgo Lima, president/CEO of Best Upon Request, a provider of on-site concierge services, has received the 2009 Women in Business Champion of the Year designation through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Columbus District Office.

The SBA Women in Business Champion of the Year honors those who have fulfilled a commitment to the advancement of women's business ownership by:

  • supporting legislative or regulatory action designed to help women-owned small business;
  • increasing business and financial opportunities for women;
  • providing legal, financial or managerial assistance to enhance women’s business ownership;
  • strengthening the role of women business owners within the community;

“As a small business owner, I’ve learned the importance of ‘paying it forward’ by mentoring other women business owners and empowering them to succeed,” said Hidalgo Lima. “YWCA’s motto, ‘Lift as you climb,’ is a guiding principle for me.”

Hidalgo Lima will be honored with other small business champions during the Celebrating Success in Small Business awards ceremony on April 22 at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio.
